I love the dismissive attitude about $90. A lot of people can take a $90 hit in a real emergency, it will suck and nobody likes it, but to just give away $90? 

A lot of the social media beggars have this obsession with money because they don't budget in the slightest, they blow whatever comes in instantly. "EMERGENCY" right? The emergency that comes up every time you want to eat. Get $25 so you immediately door dash some tendies and it's all gone. "I shouldn't have to emotionally labor to stretch my welfare for the entire month." Yeah, that's why you never escape.

But because of this they don't actually grasp the value of money, so they have no comprehension that just asking people for $90 isn't something that's going to happen. They probably look at others GoFundMe's or whatever, maybe even their own, and see the random $100 donation or something so assume this isn't an outlier, but the norm. They're basically running a gacha game with no rewards in hopes that whales and only whales will just stumble onto their profile.

Eugenics? What the hell are they one about? 

This happened years ago. Not changing all of humanity to address something means you're doing eugenics. You not wearing a mask everywhere you go? Guess, what, you're doing eugenics. Because you're not accounting for the tiny potential that you're carrying something you could transfer to someone else and it kills them. Every time you don't donate to #MutualAid you see, you're choosing the possibility that person will die. You're deliberately trying to weed out of the population people who can't survive on their own.

My favorite thing about it is it proves the person, like say Taylor Lorenz, doesn't actually know what eugenics is. You can't genetically breed poverty or disability out of the population so you can't apply eugenics to it in the first place. The only disabilities you can get rid of with eugenics are like Cystic Fibrosis or Tay Sachs because they're passed down genetically, but killing people with it wouldn't work because you can carry the gene without having it, which is why they haven't been naturally bred out of the population in the first place.
