The thing about women is, they don't need to "realize" they are women to be women.

I for my part realized I was trans in roughly my 3rd month of feminizing HRT, when it finally sank in that I would probably not feel that good off of estrogen if I was cis. it then took me 2 more years to realise I'm a woman.
