Not surprising. We now circle back to the reasons why this was needed in the first place: guaranteed everyone involved is getting death threats on the development side, guaranteed the doxxed women are getting death threats. what's driving this isn't privacy but 100% hatred of women. I get and agree with the points of how this can be corrupted (the scale, bad faith actors) but man, here's proof of the why's of this issue. This timeline sucks.

Pretty much. Even if the app was secure through all of the normal methods and everything taken into account, down to the smallest amount of code being encrypted, this is why we can't even have something that could be secure, because it's 100% driven by hatred of women having spaces that don't include men in them. It's narcissism backed by the feeling of needing to be in control of the narrative at all times no matter the cost.

All of this is just sad because it's the men that feel vindictive about the data being exposed that needs to be taught the real lesson. They just can't take the memo that they are the reason why women would gravitate towards something like this in the first place If anything, this just makes women more victims than they already are which is the truly awful part. My hope is that maybe this helps them to look towards local groups that are moderated by other women instead of relying on corpos. But maybe that's being too naive.
