What I find especially frustrating with the discourse about this is that we are just a few weeks away from the 10th anniversary of the Gamergate bullshit kicking off. There's a direct line from that to the resurrection of fascism that we're dealing with today. The big lesson the right learned there was plausible deniability. I was told multiple times that I should just calm down since they weren't actually sexist freaks, they were actually worried about ethics in game journalism.

I'm just so fucking exhausted of being told that I am the lunatic for pointing out basic facts.

Do you think this guy really believes they first learned about the concept of plausible deniability in 2014?

Also, if me saying the year isn't enough, I want to reiterate that Gamergate started in 2014 and the current year is 2025, so the 10th anniversary was last August.

We're a few weeks away from the anniversary of the 10th Anniversary of GamerGate.

I shouldn't have to explain to you why that's important. I'm so tired. etc etc.
