one time I was waiting at the public health clinic in the lobby, and this dude leaned up from behind me and informed me that he had "that medical on deck".

I was impressed that he went straight for that phrasing given how extremely white I am.

Anyway, I think about that experience a lot. Doubly so when browsing this thread.
