I wonder if that's the new tactic?The Daily Show had a segment about the AD but basically ignored the whole reason why people got upset at the ad and solely focused on right wing talking heads defending the ad

Pre-2008 Daily Show would have shown the leftists crying at the ad.

The conservatives are crashing out over an ad!

It's all been downhill for The Daily Show ever since Craig Kilborn left it.
