Just out of curiosity, are we talking liberals or actual leftists? I feel we've been preparing for violence or civil war for a decade while liberals have been head in the sand denial. I honestly only consider most liberals only to the left of conservatives but not actually part of a collective "political left" in the U.S.

tbh, from what I've seen, it's the other way around with people that call themselves socialists running around and acting like Trump is no big deal or not any different from normal.

I gotta be real though, the whole "libs vs leftist" bullshit is annoying as hell. It's largely just an excuse for assholes to be assholes, everyone across the left-wing spectrum has fucked up shit and they all act like their shit don't stink. Libs act above it all, leftists act above it all, meanwhile both engage in the exact same nonsense ass behavior. We spend more time fighting each other than we do actually fighting Trump, and people are surprised that he's running around unopposed.

It's a stupid-ass distraction from the actual issue: Trump is actively trying to subvert democracy and turn himself into a dictator. But instead of coming together to oppose him, we spend more time arguing about ideology than anything else. The Second World War had a very clear lesson about what it takes to beat fascists, we continually ignore it because everyone wants to be the one to pick up the pieces.

Do you think he even has an idea of what he's trying to say here or is it like Nepenthe just repeating things expecting others to fall down in awe at the spells being spoken?

Like, is he really saying the US government should have launched a military invasion of the United States and started killing millions of Americans in order to stop MAGA from winning elections? Is that really what he's trying to say? Especially in response to someone bragging that the left has prepared for war (by solely tweeting endlessly about it) and libs like B-Chuds haven't?

And does anyone there call out the fact that B-Chuds who enthusiastically endorsed the murder of all Muslims while sexually harassing a Black trans non-binary woman is now also calling for Biden to have expanded his genocide of Americans beyond the current genocide of trans, Black, disabled and Indigenous Americans? All to help Zionist genocider Kamala Harris and other Zionist Democrats to win elections? This paragraph makes more sense than what B-Dubs said in his post.

Or is he merely trying to suggest that they need to stop fighting about who is more progressive and start murdering government officials? What about the quislings of the Democratic Party? Because that latter part is the argument he's trying to avoid while talking to people who think that's the most important first step.
