one of the few concrete examples he uses of people acting stupid is smart doctors and scientists trotting out debunked theories about how vaccines are bad during Covid 19

I am not saying those people were right, or that there was a big Covid conspiracy, or that vaccines don't work, far from it

but this is a terrible example when it comes to everything else he said in the video

think independently
don't just go along with the group
independently try to verify things
express thoughtful opinions even when it flies in the face of the group or might be personally risky
it's so easy to agree with what is already accepted by everyone

all of this is consistent with questioning prevailing narratives

like, maybe a debunked theory was only debunked due to groupthink that dismissed it? maybe your re-examination is a courageous independent thing to do?
