Why does it even matter what one individual shooter believes? He's an individual and isn't automatically representative of his group. What is representative of their group is how millions in their group have reacted to it. The dude's beliefs are irrelevant and just being used as political ammo. The widespread celebrations are far more telling.

Also, it's fine to not care about the dude, because someone is murdered in the US every 30 minutes. We don't have the mental and emotional bandwidth to care about them all, it's just not possible. Particularly with someone that a lot of people dislike. So it's not a problem to not care about him. But celebrations are ghoulish, and ideally everyone should care about rising political violence as a class and what that means for the stability of our country.
