I'm glad when people come around to the right position (see also: Taylor Lorenz on free speech) but could they not do it with any humility? There's so much fucking condescension as they lecture us all about their heavenly dispatched wisdom only someone as all knowing as they could interpret that we tried to tell them for years that they dismissed as fascist dogwhistles.

"Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences" when it's a Hispanic truck driver fired for using ok hand gesture:

Wish we could get to some sort of reasonable normalcy but even if the left were contrite about their cancellations (which doesn't exist) and you could uncancel people the right would want its vengeance.
