Do you think this guy, and the 1400 likes, believe the "tent" is literal rather than a metaphor for how political parties need to be inclusive of many interests to maximize the size and thus win elections? You aren't kicking centrists out of your tent, you're leaving their tent for your own smaller tent that won't be able to defend itself from the arsonists because it chose to deliberately reduce its manpower.

and also the underlying unstated assumption of everyone in that small tent is that it is your moral imperative to burn down everyone elses tents because they don't deserve a tent like you do
