Something I don't really understand about the literal "twitter police" in the UK is why they're straight up performing night raids over twitter posts. No one can tell me that this is an urgent arrest. No one can tell me that this isn't something that could be handled with a phone call or a letter. Instead they're dead set on making the UK look like a poor man's version of 1984 with some bumbling police man telling you that you "upset someone on the internet"
I guess it's good in some way since it's much more public and gets people talking about it but it's also just strangely incompetent to me
