Things will get shittier regardless of whether Comey is indicted or not. James Comey not getting indicted isn't going to fix this country. Trump has already openly says he'll go after political opponents. Shitty things will continue to happen. Yes, they can destroy gay marriage, they can reinstate slavery, they can start WW3. Indicting Comey is not the litmus test for whatever shitty thing Trump will do next.

Both the left and the right hates Comey. The left celebrating isn't consent for Donald Trump to do worst things to others. Donald Trump doesn't need consent. He doesn't need the left or the right. He does what he wants because that's who he is.
However, Comey is reaping what he sowed. If Trump doesn't indict him, he could very well live happily the rest of his life without any repercussions for what he did, while the rest of us continue to suffer. So I'm happy something bad is happening to him. Even better that it's by the hand of the man he helped. Yes, things in America will get worse and worse. James Comey had a hand in it. Let people enjoy what little happiness they can get out of this.
