I can certainly understand the feeling but I also wonder what exactly the alternative is. Hamas more than happy to sacrifice Palestinians, they literally said as much, and so far the situation in Palestine is only getting worse and worse.
Unlike Ukraine there's no semblance of hope that they can win back territory for better negotiations

Ukraines leadership probably have some motivation to not let the country they're nominally in charge of get totally fucked up, because they live there.
