He transitioned to female, but he has to go to Turkey for either his music or some cosmetic operation..i can't remember which, but his passport says male and Turkey is, as he puts it, a "conservative country". So in one if his latest reels he says he's going to just pretend to be his old male self for a bit to get what he wants. And he seems perfectly content to do so.

It's the same thing: If Melody had to pretend to be her old male self to get videogames or gundams he'd do it because it serves his most immediate interests. Let's be honest, this is entirely about creating a life with the least amount of resistance possible to the trans thing, but he will budge at his own discretion if it suits him. These people pretend like it's the most devastating shit to be "deadnamed" and it's all discretionary.
