Have read good things, but haven't tried any of their products. Too limited compared to what you can do with the various Android/Linux handhelds.
I figured that was the case. I just don't fancy fucking around with emulators and losing games and stuff. I also like collecting random shit I don't need.
It's definitely something I'm keeping an eye on.
Nerds have made front-ends that are hassle free and often better than official products. I think some of the Android options have a small fee associated, but windows and linux options are free and drag and drop.
The... can't pretend to know what brand or model number it is. Some cheap thing modeled after the Sega Genesis and Saturn controllers. Runs any 2D system plus PS1 with enough battery that it's never been on my mind that it'll die. I can chuck it at somebody like a batarang and it won't break. It might have TV out but I never tested it.
