Klein thinking that political violence against the elites is somehow an attack on us all, the fact that he can only see political violence within the realm of targeting politicians or political elites like himself ("I thought about Pelosi, Shapiro, Trump, and you"), and not the systemic violence that Black people go through everyday and have gone through everyday throughout our centuries'-long dialectical history with white people (which Coates brought up) is fundamentally why I hate liberalism.

There is nothing within this philosophy for the Black person beyond a black hole where the revolutionary and humanist energy we need to save ourselves goes to simply vanish. We are not considered part of liberals' political purview because we are already so colonized and oppressed by the system they seek to maintain that there is no point to consideration towards us. Essentially, every other social fight liberals wage is essentially a fight for the groups lucky enough to be given consideration and "representation" to not to be niggerized, a fight to not end up like us, not to actually save Black people from the conditions with which liberals ultimately agree should continue to exist. When they're fighting for access to healthcare, they're not fighting for Black people because our healthcare has been fucked forever. When they're fighting for affordable housing, it's so the peoples who deserve to be housed don't end up in the hoods or on the streets like we are.

Klein does not give a shit about people like me. He cares about politicians and capitalists. Violence against them is over the line. Violence against people like me is so normalized and part of the fabric of life that when he sees Kirk- who I must remind people was a fucking Nazi- getting blown away, we don't even enter in his head. There's no space within his head for Black people at all. It's like nothing.

A useless person for a useless cause within a dying nation. Coates shouldn't have even fucking bothered staying on the interview after that admittance.
