Isn't it more realistic to blame the bad sales of Assassins Creed Shadows over "Political climate"?

Was cancelled before it even came out.

I think it's funny the entire thread is assuming the "political climate" comment can only be about Nazis/chuds/racists/etc. rather than how much Ubi might be wary of even depicting all the racists and KKK and stuff accurately.

Not just this, we're talking about an era where people have been erasing episodes of shows that depict blackface to mock it as racist. Or the criticism of the use of the n-word in stuff like Django. (Which was mentioned in that thread but positively as something the user would watch since the game is cancelled.) 

Like, imagine if Ubisoft had all the KKK and white supremacists in the game using the n-word constantly.
