REEEE types like Jeff simping for Hasan to such an intense degree that they have a whole OT dedicated to him boggles my mind because he literally does nothing to meaningfully advance his cause. Hasan is nothing more than a politics slop streamer like Asmongold but for terminally online leftists who jerk off to the thought of purity testing each other over petty bullshit. This guy came from an extremely wealthy family, travelled the world for his education, nepobaby'd into a political commentator job and eventually spun-off on his own as a twitch streamer. He is the epitome of a champagne socialist. 

In the streamer hate thread we took issue with Hasan's understanding of socialism (and his media literacy) based on his own words about what informs his socialism. The quote is an actual quote from an interview:

"I say this regularly from [popular video game] BioShock: ‘Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?’ It’s delivered by a supposed libertarian [character], but that is actually a socialist principle…. It’s wage laborers abolishing the profit motive and getting back more of the profits that they generate for their bosses. That’s the fucking point.”

 


And this is why we hate streamers

"A man is entitled to the sweat of his brow" is the exact fucking opposite of socialism.
"A man" ain't "entitled" to shit.
It all belongs to society. Thats what and who you fucking work for - the greater good of society at large.

No wonder the cunt in a mansion and a garage full of sports cars doesn't understand the basic tenet that property is theft, because 'ownership' intrinsically means 'denial to others'.

Like Nepenthe, Hasan is one of our proud anti-capitalists who presumes the key component of capitalism that socialists desired to abolish is a core anti-capitalist value.

It's doubleplus retarded as well, because the fucking in game quote explains it when the "man in Moscow" says no it belongs to everyone.

Like, the actual fucking quote he is fucking citing explicitly defines ideology 101 and establishes that he is rejecting that in like, the next fucking sentence, holy shit!

There was another quote from yeaaaaaaars ago that I can never remember the context of to ever find again, but it was one of those weird technical benji things where Hasan was attempting to articulate another famous socialist and he just fundamentally did not understand it to where he was saying it completely backwards yet still trying to browbeat someone with it. During his short flight too close to the sun, Keffals had done something similar trying to explain his communist views. I think Vaush is another that's done this.
