People in the USA are worried about being killed by the police.

USA protests are tame because:

• 50% of people disagree with your leftist cause du jour and won't protest
  
• 30% of the remaining people care but aren't as extreme as era so they won't feel the need to protest
  
• 18% of those remaining people who care and are willing to protest can't because they're living paycheck to paycheck and are scheduled to work that day
  

leaving 2% to feebly sit in their college president's office until they get kicked out
