Someone allergic to apples values my apple as worth fuck all, somebody desperate for an apple will pay big time for my apple, there is a continuum between nothing (which lets say includes everything up to my personal valuation of how much I reckon it cost me in labour + materials + my own desire to not sell my apple) up to something way more than I 'think' its worth.
But if someone buys my apple at what I consider a fair cost, then travels the fucking country specifically looking for people who will pay over the odds so that they make more than I did, I'm not being fucked over because I didn't go round the fucking country looking for those people, they did.
And if one of those people turns premium apples into delicious apple pie and charges even more over what I think an apple is worth, they are also not fucking me over, because they are also adding additional labour that I didn't fucking do to create a 'profit'.
And if someone then takes those apple pies round the country to find the specific people who will pay way more for those apple pies than average... the fucking cycle continues.

In Nepenthe's carrot-based economy, anyone making money by creating higher order goods from raw materials is taking away opportunity from others and should be stopped, even if those others were never skilled or motivated enough to make those higher order goods in the first place.
That is why collectives and communism die and get left behind by free market economies.
