Been meaning to watch this one the past few days, will give it a listen later. Saurusness isn't a turd, so it's at least a point worth considering since it'll be a good faith argument.

Sight unseen, I wonder if she'll address the homogeneity of the fanservice and the way the fanservice often works in conflict with the characters / designs for the sake of fanservice. Part of why the fanservice is so disdainful is because it's incredibly generic (look at the common complaint irt MHY games as a whole but on the majority of other competing gacha games and in how the characters are borderline interchangeable, skinny pale-skinned girls) and because often the women / girls will be dressed in ways that make no sense, either for their character or their environment or both, for the express purpose of being sexual fanservice.

See, this is so annoying about these guys. Because they will say stuff like this and then lose their fucking minds when someone tries to explain that some characters outfit actually fits their character. I can already smell that folding guys video being posted.

And yet this is the only possible conclusion when you hate every single character who is sexy. (unless it's safe horny, meaning gay or overweight)
