So Eurogamer have posted a response to a question on social media and the reply is

I find it's much more rewarding and enjoyable, and a much happier way to live, to think about a game ( and the wider medium) within the broad spectrum of opinions people can have about it, and to see what I can take from those opinions myself, than I do to try and impose my will on others to have the exact same opinion as me. (Or to get mad)
