I've been feeling lonely the past few days and I think I'm coming to terms that I'll never date for many reasons.

The big one is being trans, specifically being trans in a VERY conservative area (it's really depressing just how much support Reform UK has here and how open some people are with it), where I'm unable to transition (and unable to afford to), I have massive body issues (I feel ugly) about myself; and I just don't feel safe being openly trans, both locally or anywhere in the UK right now. Like even in progressive circles, it feels so easy to find a TERF or someone willing to play softball about the Labour party, downplaying their transphobia as being not too bad or "It would have been worse under the Tories!"

I have massive social anxiety and can't flirt for shit. While I've tried to improve myself, I just don't feel comfortable talking to people in public, like I get freaked out when people ask me for directions, no way would I be good company on a date. Plus that along with my depression makes me feel like I'd be considered to pathetic to date; not going to lie, despite the kind words of a few users here, dating threads on ERA make me depressed and miserable because it makes it clear that if you're a shy introvert or have issues like depression, you're deemed "low standards"

I'm in my early 30s at this point and just don't think I have it in me to date, I already feel stressed with work, family, social anxiety, the Government and seeing society slowly more and more turn against me and others for the crime of existing and being trans, I just don't think I can date.
