You know, if it was truly an emergency and you NEEDED a PC for whatever reason, you can get decent computers for office work and social media fairly cheap online or even at local stores like goodwill or whatever. Think less than $100 at times. 

But nope, this emergency is that they broke it installing a CPU cooler so they can't play games anymore lol

I have the Sony STR-DH590 4k HDR pass through 5.2 receiver. i really like it. have it in a 5.1 configuration and it sounds amazing.
i got it in like 2020 when i was still working to replace my old 2001 one, unfortunately its far beyond anything i could afford now.

This is about $350 to $450 new, you could most likely sell this to someone online or even locally for $200-$250, and then... BUY... yourself a new CPU?
