Play Dirty

The premise is something that feels like it is in Shane Black’s wheelhouse but there’s no energy. Maybe two or three minor scenes. The rest is dull. With these streaming movies there’s a point where I check the runtime because I’m getting bored and think “is it almost over?” It happened about 30 minutes in.

I actually rewatched Iron Man 3 on a flight recently and still enjoyed it. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Nice Guys are both great, plus the movies he wrote. But The Predator and Play Dirty were slogs.
