It was 'wishful' thinking on her part that I older because she would be younger and I would be interested. She was there to accept her lot in life. 39f and childless, she kept the house and the dog but the ex was gone. Reality hit her like a ton of bricks entering the 40's dating market and these were the people still trying. 80% unsuitable, 10% passable with major health/mental issues, 10% quality. But in that 10% group still most had issues. The youngest were 34 the oldest in their early 60s. Mostly 40 and 50 y/o. She had no chill didn't even entertain the autisty everyone dubbed the LEGO guy. 

It was funny they tried to convince me and her both that "usually" the selection was better but some of those people had been members for a year. They knew that we would attract more quality people or bring friends next time or whatever. But she just bluntly asked me: "Are you signing up for this shit?" while looking disgusted and I said: "Nah I don't think so" and she said: "Me neither" and that's when I got her number. 

Anyway time for the gym after that it's time to text her and set up a date.
