Every year on Thanksgiving I tell everyone to take a moment and offer up our thoughts and prayers for the Native American victims of European colonization.

Every year, without fail, they say to me "What the fuck are you talking about? This is Australia, we don't do Thanksgiving".

The most important thing though, is that they know I'm better than them.
