Kind of agree to be honest.
I think we're ready as a society to have a black couple or an asian couple in our ads. Ad agencies don't have to couple the minority to a white person to make it palatable or to pander to the whites.
Seeing 80% interracial couples in my laundry detergent ads, when in reality it's probably around 5%, breaks my immersion and make me question if the detergent will really remove those nasty spaghetti sauce stains.
