Spoke to a woman from Finland. The situation is really fucking bad economically. Most of their trade used to be with Russia. There are nearly no welfare/public services left. All she could get for her mother was a pill sorting machine. I hear the same things from people in Georgia. They can't cut the Russians off unless they can replace them.
She works for a corpo and a lot of companies are being bought by the Chinese or US hedgefunds. She now works for a Japanese car maker as they are least likely to sell to China.
The EU is ironically a potemkin village. Everyone is shocked now because apparently Trump is willing to make a peacedeal without US security for Ukraine.
Over here there is also a feeling of, the Americans are war criminals, Putin is a war criminal and Xi Jinping is a future war criminal.
