I don't understand this story at all. Put them in his bag? "Gave them to me"? What does this mean? At the store? So it was just to get it home? Or does he have his own fridge and the bag was for his fridge? If they shop together does mom regularly put things in his bag for him instead of him just picking out what he wants? Why would anyone do things this way? And where was the argument? She told you one thing, you explained why you did what you did. That's not an argument.

I've probably mentioned this a hundred times in this thread but whenever these kinds of people tell their horrifying stories on Twitter/Bluesky it just raises an endless series of questions instead of empathy.
