Also also, just a reflection, while I am an anti-Zionist and believe that Palestine should be free, I don't think that or condemnation of what Israel is doing needs to always be present when identifying hate crime against Jews. It reminds me when people who are pro-Palestine are asked if they support Hamas.

Israel's propaganda machinery has unfortunately — and intentionally — tied Jewish identity to its colonialist aspirations but it makes me feel icky as a Jew to need to spell out my position each time when I am also simply wanting to grieve about the death of fellow Jews. Just an observation.
