I watched 4 and 5 on the plane into LA. 4 was ok. 5 is just wtf, is this even the same series? Both were fun, but you can see the upwards trajectory of crazy.
For sure, and every movie after had to top the last one, the stopped a giant ass plane from taking off with cars, then they fought a nuclear submarine, and eventually one movie had a side mission that ended up driving a car in space to take out a satellite. Haven’t watched Fast X yet cause 9 was pretty meh, in fact I don’t even remember what that was about except I think Cena was the bad guy turned good guy. They are still good turn off your brain and enjoy popcorn flicks though.
It may sound silly but they really lost some heart when Paul Walker died. I wouldn't be surprised if he also kept Vin's ego in check
