Yep. They should have just made Mario Kart 9.

It’s actually pretty disappointing. The tracks seem based around what exists in the open world and they’re very dull. I raced eight tracks across two cups and there’s nothing memorable about them.

Maybe they did intend for more and couldn’t deliver. My understanding is Mario Kart 8 on Switch had so much content it couldn’t be topped by doing more of the same. I mean, unless they make a full blown Nintendo Kart.
