It actually warms my heart that everyone hates Jujutsu Kaisen ending, such a waste of setting and premise.
Probably because is going to get a ton of rewrites and expansions, while being better paced. This is natural, in the western side we have Invincible doing something similar with story arcs… that doesn’t mean those problems stopped existing.
People like FMA ending because:
FMA never felt like a shonen battle manga. Plus: it was monthly. JJK suffered from the same sins that have plagued the genre.
How the villain was defeated made sense by rules of the verse. People pointed out that Sukuna was spamming poorly defined “binding vows”.
Is just satisfying that the brothers got a happy ending after how many years of suffering they endured (specially if you saw the misery porn that was the first anime). JJk kind of shit the bed in how to deal with it cast.
And Shaman King is deader than disco.

Quote:So yeah, to this day I simply don't fully understand why JJK's final battle and ending are considered bad. I think people really need to give it another chance now that it's over. The anime is guaranteed to elevate it.

Quote: Shoutouts to FMA for being another (![]()
) manga with a satisfying final battle against an overpowered villain.

Quote:Special shoutouts to Shaman King for having the villain straight up win because he's simply too strong but decide to have a change of heart and not fucking kill everyone.
