There has been a big shift

"A large proportion of the Dutch appear to be positive about a more active remigration policy to encourage people with a residence status or migration background to leave."

70% support policies "to encourage people with a migration background living in the Netherlands to return to their country of origin, for example in exchange for money.

83% of Dutch people want fewer asylum seekers and 50% a total asylum stop. 

A mere 3% supports the current asylum policy and 13% wants to expand it.
