After living through several eras of games that sexualize women in every dang manner possible (even/especially young women), Capcom makes a game with a young girl with (and I hate even typing this but) gorgeous features, a new-to-the-world and naive and adorable personality, no pants (or wearing the same oversized shirt + short shorts combo Lily's got), a completely covered-up "father-figure" where she often visibly sits on your back and POV-smiles and bats her big eyes at the screen....

There's a weird disconnect between the people saying "there is NO WAY Cpacom did this on purpose" and the ones responding with "not surprised this happened at all". 😅😭

But anyways. Sure, it shouldn't have happened; and nothing about Diana SHOULD give red flags like that (to a normal person anyways). But ....well, creeps are gonna be creepy. It's basically that IASIP beauty pageant moment in a nutshell.

I feel a pretty big difference between the approach taken between Natalia and Diana. One looks like she came out of a haunted doll house, and the other has (again: RAAAuauauuuughghghghskdfjgksd 🥴 ) has that "born pretty/naive yesterday" (I'm not even typing the real name) trope all over it where she gets to be mature/helpful AND learn about funny people-things like high-fives. ✋🥹 (And if THIS feels like a stretch, then ask yourself why she isn't a boy-robot :P ).

Same people who gave off paedo vibes from Donkey Kong. 

If you get uncomfortable in the pants because a young girl interacts with a "father figure" and has "gorgeous features, a new-to-the-world and naive and adorable personality, no pants (or wearing the same oversized shirt + short shorts combo)", you should probably kill yourself.
