is there not like a specific disinfectant that can be eaten that can be used to clean meat? I remember something like that appearing during Covid. I don't see how washing meat with water can actually clean it.. unless we're talking about large particulates like dirt.

Will there ever be a way to sanitize raw meat that also leaves it immediately edible afterwards? Scientists predict that by 400,000 BC such a technology may be widespread.
