Amazing how when people look at the actual long term performance of progressive governments they realise shit just gets worse after the initial sugar rush of free money and benefits.

And in a result that would be particularly stinging for Labour should it lose the seat, National was in a tight race for Ms Ardern's old electorate seat, Mt Albert.

Edit: Shit got so bad under NZ Labour that they might even lose Jacinda Arden's old seat just 9 months after she put her tail between her legs and fucked off to greener pastures (before she was pushed).
