echo mini reminds me of the cowon M2 I had(and lost 
), except I remember liking the M2 right away. the echo mini seems to run better overall(which it should being released much more recently), but the M2 had a touch screen and separate volume, ff and rw buttons. M2 did not have blutooth, but I prefer wired headphones and it also seemed to have a longer battery life.
somewhat regret this purchase. probably should have just spent a littler more to get something higher end
