She's a wealthy lesbian Jew that got hired for a prestigious position at the NYT with borderline no experience. She's a Democrat. I'd be surprised to learn she has any major policy differences with Barack Obama and Joe Biden other than trans stuff because she's a lesbian. My assumption would be she's merely a thought criminal straight-ticket-Democrat like Jesse Singal, Matt Yglesias, Josh Barro, etc. for refusing to instantly yell "fascist" at anyone who steps out of the groupthink. Expressing the idea that the 90% of the country that's to the right of the social media elite should have their concerns also entertained is a well known Nazi position.

I mean, depending upon what ethnic group you belong to, Democrats are all onboard your concentration camps. They said fuck them Palestinians and I never hear a peep about Indigenous reservations or the Darfuri genocide. I give no quarter to either Party.

The US elections basically boil down to a few key states, sometimes with razor thin margins.
If you put the secret police in key polling areas and have them shoot a few people before the elections, then yes, you CAN deter voters from showing up.

I'm not understanding how this is supposed to work, so ICE goes to some random schools or government offices and shoots people? And this will deter voters from voting absentee or on election day?

And why does he think DHS agencies in airports is "secret police" when they've always been there and everybody interacts with them? Guy who's big on warning others about secret police but has no clue the TSA and other agencies inside airports have had powers to detain and interrogate anyone they want without legal representation for most of his life.

I disagree that any normal person would want to do that. Capitalism has trained us to not care for other people and to not improve the lives and the environment around us. This is the end goal of capitalism: make people fight for scraps while the ultra wealthy hoard everything. For a capitalist, this is the type of legacy they want to leave behind so Trump is doing this because this is the legacy he wants: allow his family and friends to get richer while the world suffers.
