It's only a tiny sliver of the left who are actively and avowedly tankie/trot pro Hamas.
The vast majority of normal people are low information and respond emotionally to what they rightly see as bullying, creepy and torturous behaviour of the Israelis on a regular basis. The algorithms heard everyone's sources together into talking points and since every idiot likes to have their say on the moral topic of the day you tend to hear more extreme voices and less unqualified motions of sympathy.
However I disagree with the premise that the left is homogeneously pro Hamas or trending antisemitic. There are far bigger problems with that at scale in conservative and reactionary circles, they're just more experienced in the field and have learned to keep quiet about it for the most part.
