that reminds me of the recent news concerning AI copyright involving Stephen Thaler
he created an AI image generator, then let it create an image, and wanted the copyright holder of the image to be his generator, and the copyright office said no, only humans can hold copyrights
he went all the way to the supreme court and they refused to hear the case, they said fuck off you're being stupid
if only scientific journals had the balls to do the same, "no, only humans can be authors of papers"
