I support Palestinians and sympathize with being forced to either experience a slow death/genocide or to go out blasting on your feet. But terrorism is...terrorism. Killing kids is wrong, full stop. It's good to see that the US govt and much of the world is starting to push back on Israel's bombing campaign and potential occupation of Gaza. If beheading babies is wrong, surely blowing babies to smithereens from miles away is wrong too. 

The thing I wonder about in the US is whether this is the mask off moment concerning certain people on the left. If you argue that the oppressed should murder their oppressors by any means, or that colonizers are not civilians (thus can be targeted for retribution in a revolutionary act)...you are literally arguing that white people should be killed. And at some point, leftist white people are going to have to reconcile with that. And while I'd imagine this will turn off some of them, ultimately it just gives many what they really want: another level of self guilt to attain, another level of extremism to reach, and another means of casting themselves as the Superior Ally because they're willing to be executed die for the cause.

We're not talking about slaves willing their masters in 1854 or something. This is complete insanity. I suppose the good news is that most of these folks are effete losers who dislike guns, so you guys are safe.

Remarkably, white liberals were the only subgroup exhibiting a pro-outgroup bias — meaning white liberals were more favorable toward nonwhites and are the only group to show this preference for groups other than their own. Indeed, on average, white liberals rated ethnic and racial minority groups 13 points (or half a standard deviation) warmer than whites.

And obviously there are reasons to view whiteness more critically but I don't think it's a healthy process when it leads into this selfhating, white savior, martyrdom thing. And since this is such an anomaly compared to all the other races, it instantly makes me question how honest these people even are or if it's just a way to signal that they're "one of the good ones" among other white liberals.
