This is partly based on experience, white people who apologize for being white tend to harbor a real darkness inside. Like the self described male feminist thing. They’re overcompensating for something they did or think. Not saying being openly racist and sexist is better. That’s the other side of not seeing women or non-whites as actual people. Along those same lines, non white people that welcome those attitudes have their own issues. Treating people like people goes a long way to not being a dickhead.
