wouldn't be shocked if this was a deal where malds was only ever gonna stay there temporarily til they got a job and fatso figured they'll make it last years like they did with their parents

Well, he did say “move out of my exes house”, think Molly didn’t realize how fucking nuts Malds is and broke it off before it got too weird. Do wonder though how squatters rights and what not will go into effect, especially being in Portland/washington area likely can’t just toss Malds to the curb. Gonna be a fun new twist to this saga

If I’m reading this right, Malds has switched from a “guest” to being a “tenant” after living there for 14 days and moving furniture in, likely getting mail as well. 

And because of their renter/tenant protections, Molly would have to take Malds to court to get him removed, cannot change the locks or cut off utilities, etc unless there is some criminal action present.

is there any indication that he's even thinking about any of this though?

I get the impression he's too dumb to think "wait a minute I could just stay here obstinately as long as I like," he doesn't know his rights, hence all the stuff about needing to get out fast

He is a barely functional mental patient pretending to be a woman, don’t think he has the capacity to google tenant/renters rights
