Not gonna lie, seeing the events played back it really is fucked up of Molly to love bomb Malds, drag him across the country, and then kick his ass to the curb after 3 months. Molly seems to be somewhat stable with a full time job, just into dressing up as a woman and taking advantage of these lesser trans online. Should have at most had them visit just as a trip before moving a mental patient into your house. 

But also Malds is a loser who needs to get their shit in order and stop pretending to be a woman so maybe it’ll work out in the end.

I'd be more willing to believe that Molly only wanted the conquest, got tired of Melody after they had them, and went onto the next person. Bet they were in love with the online discord kitten version of Melody and when reality set in they couldn't handle it.
