This has so many hallmarks of a complete cluster fuck:

• Questionable casting
  
• Questionable design choices
  
• A director passion project in an unfamiliar genre with a huge budget
  
• An "impossible" adaptation
  

I genuinely hope it's good, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not.

I kind of expect it to be a good Nolan movie but terrible as an adaption of the Odyssey. Will have to turn my brain off and just see it as it's own thing.
