What would be more realistic is to demand policies where tech companies have to provide a certain amount of the energy through renewables or nuclear power. Same thing with the water, demand policies that push the companies towards closed loop systems etc.

I mean, is the matter of when, not if.


But that doesn’t mean the genie is back to the bottle… but a lot of people really… really… hate GenAI. 

I feel the tech sector really screwed up in evangelizing this stuff and the data center stuff seem to be eliminating the goodwill of normies (whenever they do or do not more damage that other industries, people felt they screwed faster than the others).
