Realized there's probably fun in the replies:

The reflecting pool saga has been great.

First it was painted with some bright blue and people on the left started saying that it'll look horrible and like some cheap swimming pool, then the pool was finished and it started reflecting normally and then the people on the right went on a big "told you so!" and how only Trump could have accomplished this (amusingly some on the left also claimed that the reflection in photographs had to be AI) and then came the final twist, the prestige if you will, and the algae returned with a vengeance and the whole pool is now green like Mountain Dew.
